About Us

Being Evangelical in nature, Covenant E.M.C. has it's primary focus on evangelizing and missions, both foreign and domestic. We are proud to support many missionaries in other countries. We consider our members as missionaries here at home as they seek to do God's will in bringing others to a relationship with Christ by showing the Lord's love and affection to others.

Senior Pastor
Rev. Jamey Gremillion
Jamie Gremillion holds a B.A. degree in Ministerial Studies from Hobe Sound Bible College, a Master of Arts in Theology from Wesley Biblical Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Masters of Theology from Calvin Theological Seminary. He and his wife Cara are the parents of Cameron, Cade, Kelcie, and Karis.


Associate Pastor
Sean Wightman
Sean Wightman holds a B.A. degree in Finance with a Minor in Christian Education from WV Wesleyan College. Sean is working toward his Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry through Wesley Biblical Seminary. He was a campus pastor through InterVarsity at WVU/WVWC for 13 years. Sean and his wife Amy have two daughters, Brianna and Bethany.

Dave Friend
Pastor Friend holds a B.A. degree in Accounting from WVU, and a B.A. degree in Christian Education from Asbury College. He and his wife Rachel are the parents of Brian, Joshua, Nathaniel, and Hannah. He is the headmaster at Covenant Christian School.
